Servant of God
By Peace | May 20, 2008
On this Vesak Day, I attended the 6.30pm Eucharistic Celebration, first time. On this day, I discovered some more new things — something special about the church dog, which is called ‘Yang Yang’. He has a special garden to himself! And Yang Yang is my favourite dog, love at first sight, the first time I sent mass offering at Father Cyril’s office. Yang Yang (the black and white dog) sleep on the floor in Father Cyril’s office. He is so intelligent and knows how to cross the road….
On this day, Father Cyril wore green and with the chinese words Xin wang Ai = 信 望 愛, I think the meaning is ‘with faith, there is hope and we look forward to love’.
This day, the Holy Communion is different. For the first time, I get to drink the red wine, the blood of Christ. The red wine is so nice, so shiok, and I only take a small sip. If I knew how nice it was, I had hoped to drink more…LOL. This is the best red wine I ever had in my whole life so far.
The celebration lasted only about half an hour, at about seven o’clock, the mass was ended and we cycled back. We intend to go Causeway Point for dinner and we cycled the usual path there. On the way, I was so surprised to see the same black cat again, waiting for me, but this time on the right hand side of the pavement. (On Jesus Ascension day, the same cat was on the left hand side of the pavement )
Clara and I gave this black cat a name, Puma Cat. On 17th May 2008, Saturday, just after church also, the same white cat was waiting for me at my lobby. Ricsson gave it the name Polar Cat. Below this cat is again sighted just like what happened on Jesus Ascension day. After we met Puma Cat, when we were about to reach Causeway Point, I saw this cat, Freedom Cat, without any collar, nobody’s cat, feral or stray cat, running towards the traffic light again. But this time it was further away. When I reached the junction between the traffic light and the left hand side of the pavement, Freedom cat remained. He stayed at my left hand side of the pavement. He purred and then he walked further left, under a tree.
I am a certified servant of God now. I am the spiritual cat that is serving God now. I like Puma cat, his fur is like brownish under the influence of the flash light. I cannot see him clearly in darkness. When I took his photo, he closed his eyes, afraid of the flash light. That was so funny. A cute cat he is, Puma Cat.
There is just so much mystery in the power of the Holy Spirit. In the same day on Vesak Day, 19th May 2008, we experienced so much ‘mystery’ and I am so overwhelmed and until now, just now…
