Blessed Be God
Blest are You, Lord, God of all creation,
Thanks to your Goodness this bread we offer,
Fruit of the earth, works of our hands
It will become the bread of life
Blessed be God, Blessed Be God, Blessed Be God,
Forever Amen
Blessed be God, Blessed Be God, Blessed Be God,
Forever Amen
Blest are You, Lord, God of all creation,
Thanks to your Goodness this wine we offer,
Fruit of the vine, works of our hands
It will become the cup of joy
Blessed be God, Blessed Be God, Blessed Be God,
Forever Amen
Blessed be God, Blessed Be God, Blessed Be God,
Forever Amen
Blessed Be God
I missed Father Vincent Chee. I love his voice when it comes to singing this short hymn. He seemed so engrossed and really sing ‘with feeling’. The above is a picture of Father Vincent Chee. I am lucky to capture him — my remembrance of him. However, in this video, the song is not sung by Father Vincent. The voice was from Father Bruno.
Still I am lucky enough to capture a video of Fr Vincent Chee’s singing this hymn during Ricsson’s First Holy Communion. It was so nice to hear his voice again, even in this video.
These words from the short hymn were so meaningful. It really touches my heart everytime it was being sung.
The last time I wrote about this was 14 Feb 2008. I wrote “Believing Is Seeing“. Little did I know that I would really encounter God on 8 March 2008.
Just like this picture, God is Light. I was lying on the bed when very bright light suddenly appeared. It was three flashes of light, very bright and the sound of ‘flash light’. I was so scared, and did not dare to open my eyes. I heard that if you see God you will be dead. I was also too scared to see what was in front of me.
With this experience, together with ‘divine revelation’ of some facts, the experience of going to church is now so much different as before. I am constantly thanking Jesus for saving my life and for revealing the truth to me.
However, the road ahead is not going to be easy… I wonder how to survive… This is a great challenge, a great obstacle and something to really to learn about faith…

[...] Minor Becomes Major During our separation, in the house was only the maid, children and me. I need to look after everything and everyone in the family, and not forgetting my insurance work. It was tough and tiring to handle so many things –an octopus I am. One day, a myna came to our house. We feed it. (will upload the picture and video one of the days — need to search for the disc.) At other times, myna will come to our window, chirping as though trying to say something. [...]
