Cabbage & Carrot Rice
This is another simple meal, very easy to cook — just rice, cabbage and carrots. This was dinner for last night. Lunch was Simple Bee Hoon Soup with Cabbage, carrot cake and braised peanuts.
With one big cabbage, some/half for lunch and some/half for dinner.
I normally like to eat such rice with mushrooms and dried shrimp (for the fragrance). But once, and I supposed that would be the last time… he told me,”I don’t like this! Don’t Cook this anymore!!!”
From then on, I stopped cooking that dish. I missed it. Now, I treat it that it is a saving of my money and effort. Got no money and only can ‘say’, and always ‘no action’. So I compromise. I would not cook what he don’t like, but I would still cook what is nutritious and healthy.
This was dinner for yesterday. Cabbage & carrot rice eat with side-dish: brinjal and cereal chicken.
Nobody in the family likes to eat brinjal. I am the only one who likes to eat vegetables. So I had to open a can of baked beans to add more dish to the dinner.
Heinz Baked Beans is the nicest among all brands.
A big can of Heinz Baked Beans are just nice for my family of four.
