Fried Potato Wedges
Peeled potatoes and cut them into wedges. Next mixed them with flour and salt.
Next, heat up a pot of oil. When oil is hot, put in the above potato wedges.
Fry the potatoes until golden brown.
Serve as snack or eat as a side dish with rice or porridge.
My children and the ‘Big Baby’ likes to eat potatoes — any potatoes will do: fried potatoes, be it potatoes wedges or boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes. The children also love Rosti very much.
Home cooked potato wedges taste better than commercially packed frozen potatoes wedges. Home cooked potato wedges uses fresh potatoes and the ingredients we used to season the potatoes are much simpler than those bought from the supermarket. With home cooked potato wedges, we can taste the natural taste of potatoes, but with market or frozen potato wedges, such taste/natural fragrance of the potatoes are lost.
