Instant Noodle
During my first and second trimester of my pregnancy, I do not like to eat instant noodle at all. Even at this point, I have no craving for instant noodle, nor any kind of noodle. I just like to eat rice.
But, not everytime there are food in the fridge.
When there are no more food in the fridge, I have to eat instant noodle. I do not like to eat plain noodles (now that I am pregnant). With not much food in the fridge and left only a can of New Moon Fragrant Clams on the shelf, I decided to cook instant noodles with all the ingredients I have — cauliflowers, fragrant clams and eggs.

Even the instant noodles are given by my parents.
I feel bad. I don’t like to be like that. But I have no choice. I cannot go out to work, and he is not earning enough money.
What is more important than good health?
And yet, he is not at all appreciative of what my parents had done — go marketing, buying food for me, providing us with food. He complains if I go my parents’ house every week. He said,”Every week go your mother’s house!” With my tummy so big, I hate to travel also. But do I have any more choice? My children need food, my baby need food, and I need food. You don’t want to eat food, we cannot. And yet, he got no money. I had to fork out my own money if I need to buy any food. I have to buy food that I crave for. He never buy food for the family willingly nor ‘automatically’ (out of his own free will). He would rather not spend money on food but rather spent them on electronics stuff. He would rather buy nutritional supplements than eating fresh food….
If only he would listen, if only he would believe in me, believe what I said and what I know.
