What Is Wisdom
Meaning of wisdom :
1. the quality or state of being wise; knowledge of what is true or right coupled with just judgment as to action; sagacity, discernment, or insight.
2. scholarly knowledge or learning: the wisdom of the schools.
3. wise sayings or teachings; precepts.
4. a wise act or saying.
5. Wisdom Bible Wisdom of Solomon.
This is an empty piece of land at Woodlands where I always walk pass when walking to the church. On this piece of land, there are always surprises awaiting me. On this Palm Sunday, dated 5 April 2009, while sitting inside the cab, SilverStar Taxi, I saw many white cranes in the field. They were so beautiful…
The crane is said to be a bird of omen. It is considered an auspicious bird, with the symbols of longevity as well as the messengers of wisdom.
Some cranes spotted in the same land, some flying, some ‘grazing’ in the field.
The crane looked so nice from afar, with their pure white plumage. When flying, they looked even more graceful. It is so nice to watch them flying — your spirit is lifted up when you see them flying!
It was really such a long time since I last saw any white crane (not to say those that we see in the Bird Park). When I was young, still a little girl, I often saw the white crane at my neighbourhood, Boon Lay and Jurong. My mother said they escaped from the Bird Park.
Eversince I had grown up and ultimately moved to Woodlands, I did not see anymore white crane. However, last year, I started to see white crane again. It was so amazing. I never knew that seeing the white crane again is going to have such a major transformation…. I had an encounter with God and Jesus Christ.
Since then, birds and animals around me are of significant values. They are all divine animals, created by God, just like you and me.

This is the white crane flying just in front of me when I went back to my school at Boon Lay last year.
There was one and only one white crane, and it flew in front of me and then high up into the sky again. It was such a lovely sight.
During my childhood days, my mother taught me to pray to Jesus and to my dead grandmother and uncle. My mother is illiterate and she does not know how to teach me where my studies are concerned. She always asked me to pray for wisdom and my studies. Several years back, Mary came to my house for Bible Studies. She guided me in prayer, asking God to increase my wisdom……. Never did I know that God really hear our prayers and my prayers are heard…..
